Feigley Communications Wins Gold for Opioid Awareness Outdoor Campaign
Pain-Killer-Outdoor

Feigley Communications, a Baton Rouge-based marketing and public relations agency, took home a Gold Award from the 37th Annual
Healthcare Advertising Awards for its opioid awareness outdoor campaign developed for the Louisiana Department of Health.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition in the world. A national panel of judges reviewed more than 4,200 global entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

The opioid outdoor campaign, which included five executions of ads, was just one component of a statewide, multimedia public awareness and education campaign aimed at informing the public about the risks associated with opioid abuse. The campaign also connected opiate abusers and their loved ones to recovery services, including those funded by Medicaid.

The ads were designed after extensive focus group testing in four Louisiana cities among opioid users, family members and the general public.

Feigley Communications was honored for the same campaign in February at the Baton Rouge 2020 American Advertising Federation’s ADDYs ceremony with three awards, including a Best in Show.
