In the 39th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, Feigley Communications took home gold for their Pain Healer Opioid Alternatives campaign for South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority. The firm also won silver for the Louisiana Office of Public Health’s Sleeves Up COVID-19 vaccine commercial, and a merit award for Well-Ahead Louisiana’s Be A Leader commercial.
The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest and largest healthcare advertising awards competition in the world. A national panel of judges reviewed more than 4,200 global entries based on creativity, quality, message, effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
The Pain Healer Opioid Alternatives Campaign was a multimedia public awareness and education campaign aimed at informing the public about safe pain killer alternatives to opioids. The campaign also connected opiate abusers and their families to recovery services, including those funded by Medicaid.
Feigley’s work on the Sleeves Up COVID-19 Vaccine commercial raised awareness of the safety, efficacy and availability of the COVID-19 vaccines as Louisianans became eligible for vaccination in 2021. For Well-Ahead Louisiana, the Feigley-produced Be A Leader commercial encouraged employees, managers and business owners to put the health and wellness of others first by making healthy changes in their workplaces.
