With a serious flu season looming on the horizon, the Office of Public Health Immunization Program knew they needed to make flu vaccine messaging a priority. Enter Feigley Communications. Fusing a little bit of humor with the practical cost of being sick, “Don’t Let the Flu Ruin Your Plans” captured the attention of Louisiana residents statewide encouraging them to get their flu shot. This multi-media campaign broke from traditional vaccine band-aid imagery to highlight day-to-day activities that suffer when you have to stay home with fever, chills or body aches – a feeling everyone can relate to whether you believe the flu is serious or not.
