The Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) provides behavioral health, developmental disability and wellness services across Louisiana’s Florida Parishes region. Its Vocational and Employment Services department helps individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges gain the skills, training and support needed to enter or re-enter the workforce.
This campaign encouraged employers across the Florida Parishes region to embrace inclusive hiring by considering individuals with developmental disabilities for their teams. It highlighted the positive impact these employees have on workplace culture, productivity and community connection.
