For National Kick Butts Day, Well-Ahead Louisiana (an initiative of the Louisiana Department of Health) wanted help empowering youth to stand up against tobacco using public relations, a media campaign, and event coordination. FC was up for the task. We developed a strategic marketing and communications plan that emphasized smoking cessation among the target demographic. In conjunction with a media campaign, we engaged our primary audience directly through a pep-rally style event at a local high school, and broadened the reach of our message through the earned media coverage we obtained. The campaign had tremendous results, and showed overall that Louisiana's youth knows how to kick butts! Awarded "Best Short Term Public Relations Campaign, 2019" by the Public Relations Association of Louisiana.
