We were tasked with giving the Louisiana Workforce Commission a modern look as part of an advertising campaign promoting the training of individuals to meet the rising demand for skilled workers in the state. We would then take this new identity and use it across a massive mixed media campaign throughout Louisiana to promote LWC’s mission.
The advertising campaign brought attention to the efforts being made to make sure today’s workforce is ready for tomorrow’s jobs. The LWC logo captured the movement of the people that are being trained for those positions- entering training programs and graduating with the skills necessary to succeed.
The Louisiana Workforce Commission needed to educate Louisiana residents, companies and community leaders about exciting new programs they developed to deliver a job-ready workforce to businesses in Louisiana. It was a detailed and complex message that we had 30 seconds to tell. Go.
Actually, we got 60 seconds. We produced two :30 television commercials that used special effects to simulate “floating” tools to show job openings literally being filled because of the programs and partnerships of LWC.
Following the lead of the television campaign, the print advertising featured “floating” hardhats, scrubs and headsets that dramatically presented the open jobs that LWC programs and partnerships were helping fill.
